Every donation given to WAST means that we can support the women in our network to thrive. This Christmas we need our amazing supporters to rally round and once again help us create #TimeForJoy!
Christmas for most people is a time for family, laughter and lots of joy and hope but the reality for women seeking asylum is that there is little opportunity for them to step away from their daily worries..
The majority of the women in our network live in temporary accommodation like hotels and receive just £8.24 a week for essentials, leaving little money to buy presents at Christmas.
Every year we try and combat this with our Christmas appeal.
We know that money is tight for everyone and that there is very little to go around but if you have any money to spare, will you help us give a gift to everyone in our network and a Christmas party so everyone has #TimeForJoy

£15 will buy a gift for a child in our network
£25 will buy a gift for one woman to support their wellbeing
£50 will give two families food vouchers for over the Christmas period
£100 will provide bus fares for 20 women to attend our Christmas party
